Our Approach

Our pillars are the heart and soul of Lillies in Bloom. Our unique proactive approach and prioritization of whole-person wellness were birthed from a first-hand understanding of how girls need to be supported through their transition into adulthood.

Our Pillars

Ignite

​

Ignite is our cohort-based, social-emotional learning program that utilizes the evidence-based 13-week SPARK curriculum. Social-emotional learning is defined as the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions(casel.org).

Ignite

Ignite is our 26-week social-emotional learning, evidence-based program. Social-emotional learning is defined as the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals.  
       

The curriculum is taught by our trained facilitators and has been curated for youth ages 13-17. Over the course of the program, our girls are taught a series of lessons that will unlock a deep understanding of their own mind, thought, and consciousness, thus leading them to have a better understanding of themselves and the world around them resulting in better decision making.

Academic and Career Guidance

The road to higher education begins day one of high school, not senior year. Our team works in unison with our girls, school counselors, and parents to develop a proactive roadmap toward higher education. Lillies in Bloom also provides career guidance to help prepare our girls for the workforce and introduce them to new career possibilities.

Feminine Health & Wellness

The topic of feminine health & wellness can no longer be ignored or considered taboo. With parental permission, our girls attend open, meaningful, and educational monthly forums with medical professionals about the importance of quality feminine health, hygiene, and wellness. Our wellness professionals introduce and utilize effective wellness techniques developed by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine to help transform trauma and provide the tools for self-care and resilience.
